Hello
Everyone!
While spring cleaning last month I was reminded of how the things
in my home are more than just stuff. They represent memories
and sacrifice, love and creativity. While having my dining
room window treatments cleaned, I had to laugh about how my sister
and I spent a month shopping for the perfect fabric. We traveled
all over Wisconsin
to find it then spent so much we decided to sew them ourselves!
Needless to say, there isn't a straight hem to be found, but we had
fun doing it!
Then while vacuuming under the sofa, I remembered how my husband
and I were so desperate to replace our well-worn futon with a new
sofa we made a pact to eliminate going out to eat for 6 months
(okay, maybe we cheated once or twice). The result, a beautiful
brand new cream sectional. The first major furniture purchase for
us both!
The reason I'm sharing this with you is because it's fun to
evaluate the things in your home that bring you joy and evoke
memories personal to you. It is also nice to have a resource like
Artistry Furniture and Gift Gallery where you can come in, browse
comfortably and when you find something, whether it's a vase, lamp
or new furniture, you can bring it home and start to create new
memories that last a lifetime!

Sphere Madness -- The 2008 Public Art Event - the spheres are on
